A Perfect March Family Break

As holiday home owners, it is sometimes hard to find a week in between guest bookings and maintenance jobs to simply kick back and enjoy Ty Nant ourselves. Earlier this month we were lucky enough to join our son and daughter and their partners for a few days of rest and relaxation at the house, and someone must have been looking down on us because the mid March weather was absolutely beautiful.
We enjoyed walks both from the doorstep and further afield. We climbed up and over the hill from Tresaith and walked along the cliff path to Penbryn beach and because the tide was low, were able to scramble back along the shore for a well-deserved pint on the terrace at The Ship Inn. Another day, we walked from Mwnt to Gwbert, ending with some refreshments at the Flat Rock Bar while enoying the views across the estuary towards Poppit Sands. The picture below shows one of the many breathtaking views we had from the coast path back towards Mwnt beach.
And on our final full day we drove into Pembrokeshire and enjoyed a stunning (if windy) coastal walk from Porthgain to the Blue Lagoon at Abereiddy, stopping for a stroll down on the beautiful beach known as Traeth Llyfn (pictured below).
As always we had some gorgeous sunsets too, both from the house and from The Ship Inn. Just take a look at the colours in the sky in the photo below.
What a fabulous place Tresaith is! We feel so lucky to be able to enjoy time here and to share it with all of our lovely guests.
We are booking up fast for the 2025 season, but do check out our availability and contact us if you would like to make a booking.
